Community Garden Club 

An exciting new project in March at the Community Centre. The Trust has secured a small plot, thanks to the team at the Community Centre. This monthly workshop provides an opportunity to learn all aspects of gardening from seed sowing to pruning and plant maintenance.

Learners will have an allocated plot to maintain which will cover all aspects of vegetable growing for their personal use. 

Group members will also plan and design a herb garden as well as many other projects during the course.

 This course will introduce the learner to the basics of sewing by reclaiming, revamping and reusing every day items. Examples of projects could be curtains to cushions, jeans to aprons, there are lots of other ideas for this workshop. Sewing machines will be provided for the duration of the project, all costs and materials supplied for this workshop are free.
